These ball bearings are made of high quality Stainless Steel and are pre-lubricated with grease from the factory and are available in both RS (Rubber Seals) and ZZ (Stainless Steel Shields) configurations. The SS-6203-2RS and SS-6203-ZZ has a 17 mm ball bearing that is found in many applications. The SS-6203-2RS ball bearing has two contact rubber seals, one on each side of the ball bearing. The SS-6203-ZZ bearing has two non-contact Stainless Steel shields, one on each side of the ball bearing. If your application requires a SS-6203 ball bearing with only one seal or shield you can simply remove one of the shields or seals. This 17 mm ball bearing is a high quality product and can operate efficiently in many demanding applications.
