When the temperature is lower than 15°C, (A) the viscosity will increase. This is a characteristic of epoxy resin and is a normal phenomenon. (A) can be preheated before mixing to reduce the viscosity and facilitate use. (Can be heated with water) Tighten the bottle cap and heat with water for about 10 minutes before taking it out.
After taking it out, use a paper towel or dry cloth to dry the water on the bottle to prevent water from mixing in during mixing and affecting the effect.
Second: Proportion
Carbon fiber covering tape needs to be strictly and accurately proportioned
The proportion is:
Weight ratio (electronic scale ratio) A:B=2:1
Step 1: Take (A) 18 ml, (B) 10 ml (you can mix the ratio according to your own situation)
After taking the measured amount, pour it into a disposable cup and mix thoroughly. Remember to scrape the inside of the measuring cup clean to avoid errors that may lead to incomplete curing.
When the temperature is higher than 25°C, stir thoroughly and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. It can be used after most of the bubbles have dissipated.
When the temperature is 15-25°C, you can use a hair dryer or hot air gun (low setting if there is no temperature display, and 150-180°C if there is a temperature display) after mixing the mixture evenly, blow it for 20-30 seconds, and then let it sit for 1-2 seconds. Use after minutes.
When the temperature is lower than 15°C, you need to preheat (A) before proportioning. After stirring evenly, you can let it sit for 2-3 minutes or use a hair dryer with a hot air setting or a heat gun (use a low setting if there is no temperature display, or a setting with a temperature display). 150-180℃), blow for about 20 seconds and use directly.
Third: Paint
Generally speaking, it only takes 4-5 times to brush a pure flat board, and 5-6 times to brush a curved board.
Before applying the surface glue, be sure to fully saturate the brush and press to expel air bubbles in the brush.
When painting, you need to press the brush slightly harder to reduce the thickness of the paint. The mask needs to be used within 20 minutes at 25-35°C, and it needs to be used within 15 minutes after preheating or blowing with a hot air gun and hair dryer. If you are working on a large piece or a relatively large piece, you may not have enough time to paint it over and over again. You can first pour it over for multiple pieces or large pieces, and then paint it carefully. This can effectively avoid the problem of too much mixing and too late to brush.
Fourth: Curing time and painting interval
0-10℃ (it is recommended to take heat preservation measures below 0℃)----10-12 hours
10-15℃----7-8 hours
15-25℃----6-7 hours
25-30℃----5-6 hours
30-35℃----4.5-5 hours
Bake at constant temperature 60-65℃ for about 25-30 minutes to cure
In order to save time and obtain better results, the following is the optimal production time (taking 25°C as an example)
This method is suitable for ordinary DIY partners who do not have a constant temperature oven or cutting and grinding tools.
Apply the first coat of masking tape

After cutting off the excess carbon cloth, lightly rub the entire surface with 240-grit sandpaper.
Brush the second time

Refresh the third time

Brush the fourth time
↓(Wait about 6 hours for curing)
Slightly sand the entire surface with 240-grit sandpaper (dry sand) and brush it evenly for the fifth time.

Brush the sixth time (usually the last time)
↓(After curing for about 6 hours, start water sanding from coarse to fine sandpaper)
After the last pass of surface glue is cured, and water is added to the sandpaper from coarse to fine, the surface can be completely free of trachoma and pits.

1. The carbon fiber coating glue is made of epoxy resin and needs to be accurately mixed and mixed thoroughly before use.
Do not visually check the ratio. If the ratio error exceeds 5%, it will lead to incomplete curing (not curing for a long time, or it will be too soft).
2. When the facial glue is in liquid state or before it is completely cured, please wear waterproof gloves to avoid direct contact with the skin or places that do not need to be in contact (such as clothing, etc.).
After contact, it can be cleaned with medical alcohol, liquor, gasoline or organic solvents.
3. Try to avoid operating in environments with humidity exceeding 90%.
4. Try to avoid contact with high temperature (temperature exceeding 100°C) environment for finished products.
