Description
The kidney position resembles lateral position, except the patient's abdomen is placed over a lift in the operating table that bends the body to allow access to the retroperitoneal space. A kidney rest is placed under the patient at the location of the lift.
This kidney rest fit's the steris surgical table that will go into the lateral decubitus position. Head and thorax position. The cervical spine column must remain straight, neutral while positioning the head and ear protected from pressure by using the gel head ring. double articulated head rest can by applied for better head height adjustment the torso is positioned on a back plate and the table’s flex position is executed so the kidney area gets anatomically exposed.
