IDLER WHEEL
For all Lenco's turntables with Idler Drive sistem.
It is very important that you check the size of your idler wheel shaft.
Older models, such as (L70 and others) usually have a 3.0mm shaft. Newer models (L75, L78 and others) usually have a 2.45mm stem.
They can also be distinguished by the type of wheel retention.
3.0mm axles usually end with threads and use two nuts to retain the wheel.
The 2.45mm shafts are smooth and use a retaining clip.

This idler wheel is probably the best and most perfect on the market.
It is made in a single piece, using a high-precision CNC milling machine, the same ones that machine parts for demanding and highly prestigious brands such as Mercedes or Bosch.
The material used is blue anodized aluminum, with the Audio Improvements brand on one side. Anodizing is not just an aesthetic option, it is a way to make aluminum more inert, with less vibration and resonance.

I'm passionate about turntables in general, and Lencos, in particular. A passion of almost 40 years. I've tried many types of Idler wheels, some better, some worse. But I was never entirely satisfied. So I always looked for alternatives. I finally managed to form a partnership with a very prestigious manufacturer that allowed the construction of these idler wheels.
For me, they are the best I have ever tried. Much better than the originals, both plastic and metal. Furthermore, these use a tire made of rubber, with a perfect shape, from a multi-cavity mold.
All other solutions on the market use round orings which cause more noise, vibration and friction. Furthermore, they occupy a large area of the platter and the motor shaft, which does not allow for good speed regulation, with enormous flutter and rambler.
The Audio Improvements tire is inverted "V" shaped with a point of contact with the motor shaft and platter less than 0.2mm. The rubber has the ideal hardness and density for smooth contact, but guarantees the famous Lenco torque.
This idler wheel and tire were developed together, undergoing many laboratory and functional tests to ensure a true improvement of a Lenco idler drive.
