For sale is this very nice Ball Bros. Double Bow sheep shears. The shears are 13" long and stamped with a rectangular stamp with a sword inscribed "Success" and Ball Brows & Co. Sheffield England on both sides.  Handles are wrapped with some material (most likely after market) but is a very old wrap.  Double bow design and still in great working condition. The inside of the blade also has 'SH-17' marked in white. This should come off with a mild solvent.  The estate owner was working on a scissors and shears book before he passed away. These were going to be in the book.
