- Letters come with pre-spaced foam template ready to be applied to the hood, high strength 
self-adhesive backing with a custom protector sheet on the front to ensure they go on the hood 
spaced evenly.  Installation instructions are included and give you two options on how to properly 
align and measure for a perfect installation - The weather resistant adhesive ensures a full proof 
installation in seconds.

This part fits Ford vehicles and includes Police Interceptor Utility with the trims of Base Sport 
Utility 4-Door . The engine types may include 3.5L 3496CC 213Cu. In. V6 GAS DOHC Turbocharged, 
3.7L 3726CC 227Cu. In. V6 FLEX DOHC Naturally Aspirated, 3.7L 3726CC 227Cu. In. V6 GAS DOHC 
Naturally Aspirated. This part fits vehicles made in the following years

2011-2019 Police Interceptor Emblem Installation Instructions


Tools required: Tape measure, clear tape, magic marker


Option one for a simple installation that will need to be tweaked


  1. Wash vehicle and remove any dirt or residue preventing a clean installation.

  2. Measure the center on the front oval emblem to give you the center of the hood.

  3. The Explore emblem center is 3/16” or .187” to the left of the O in Explore.

  4. Now you can properly align the center of the front oval with the Explore emblem.

  5. Tape the explore alignment template in place to adjust the height and the center.

  6. The height measures ½” up from the bottom of the hood to the emblem template.

  7. Last is to gently remove the adhesive backing before the final installation is done.


Read this before attempting the Explore emblem installation

Option two for a cleaner more precise installation


  1. Remove the clean emblem protector off the front of the emblem.

  2. Separate the letters from backing without disturbing the adhesive backing.

  3. Wash vehicle and remove any dirt or residue preventing a clean installation.

  4. Measure the center on the front oval emblem to give you the center of the hood.

  5. The emblem center is 3/16” or .187” to the left of the O in Explore

  6. Now you can properly align the center of the front oval with the Explore emblem.

  7. Tape the explore alignment template in place to adjust the height and the center.

  8. The height measures ½” up from the bottom of the hood to the emblem template.

  9. Once the template is properly aligned you can install each letter one by one.

  10. This is proven to be the very best way to get the best alignment and curve.

  11. When removing the template be sure to take your time and not disturb letters.

Return Policy

Returns are only accepted within 30 days and only if a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) has been issued.

All returns MUST be brand new and in their original, unopened packaging. (Item returns may subject to restocking fees)

We reserve the right to refuse any package returned to us without authorization. Returns/Refunds are processed within (30) business days of receipt (not including holidays, weekends, transit time, or the day the package was delivered.)

Special order items, item hardware, rebuild kits. replacement parts, emblems or decals are not able to be accepted for return.

If a free shipping item is returned, the original outbound shipping will be deducted from the refund. The customer is also responsible for return shipping.

If a customer refuses or is not available for an item, they will be charged the return shipping fee by the carrier. If a free shipping item is refused or missed, the outbound shipping will also be deducted from the refund.

If a customer changes an address or enters an incorrect address when placing an order, the customer is responsible for any address change/correction fees billed by the carrier as well as the original outbound shipping fee on all free items. (We do not redirect packages to other addresses than the billing address originally entered.)
