Hole spacing on this sight is .825".
These sights were designed by Andy Fautheree and most recently sold by the "House of Muskets".
This is a fixed buckhorn sight with an elongated base and narrow slot to allow for adjustments to fit your barrel length and personal focus.
This particular rear sight utilizes the LATER factory Thompson Center Hawken and some renegades hole spacing (.825"). to mount this more traditional rear buckhorn sight. This sight has shorter hole spacing than earlier Thompson Center Hawkens. The hole spacing on earlier Thompson Center Hawkens is over one inch.
If you have different hole spacing this sight can still be used by drilling and tapping an additional hole in your barrel.
The front sight is a standard post design utilizing the same 3/8" dovetail as your TC Hawken.
Your existing 6x48 mounting screws can be used mounting this sight.
These sights are not finished. These are investment castings. It will take a little effort to achieve visual perfection. This will allow for your choice of color and finish.
You can also adjust the slot depth and width to fit your vision and front sight. This is why God made needle files and fingernail files.
