FELT:

Felt is a great medium to make things from. These scarves / shawls are made in felting technique. The decorative design elements are laid on silk fabric and they are rolled in a screen and pounded for some time.

In some cases needle felting is applied to create a sharper design. After the shawl pounded in the screen, it is washed and coloured to the desired colour . In the final stage, it is washed and flattened. The result is a lush, cloudy, almost one of product. Since the silk is very fine they feel light and cloud-like.

There might be some imperfections in the piece and they should be tolerated due to being handmade.

The colors might look slightly different on different screens. If you are you are very much sensitive about the colors of the piece, please question in detail and ask for extra images to be sure about the colors, since returning the piece is a costly and difficult process.

Some might expect these handmade pieces to have as perfect condition as industrial items and that is why i needed to underline this issue.
