Published in May, 1978 by DC. "There Shall Come a Gathering." Written by Paul Kupperberg & Paul Levitz. Illustrated by Joe Staton. Cover by Staton & Dick Giordano (inks). Special 100th Anniversary Issue filled with dozens of character appearances. 52 pages. Original cover price was 60 cents.

From a solicitation description: “Some unknown force is disrupting the fabric of time and pulling the Earth out of orbit; Volcanoes explode, dinosaurs rampage, and heroes from all times pop up everywhere; Green Lantern, Atom, Flash, and Adam Strange fly to an orbiting spaceship and battle gold robots. Lois Lane, Creeper, and the Challengers fly to the Rocky Mountains to crack a big green alien box; Metal Men and Teen Titans quash Vikings and Nazis; Phantom Stranger gathers heroes and holds a seance to summon the Spectre; together they return the Earth to its orbit; Lois Lane and Angel O'Day repel the alien responsible. Features almost every character who ever appeared in Showcase. Wonder Woman stars in a one-page Hostess ad, "Dilemma." Article by Paul Levitz that tells how the creators - all fans of Showcase - pulled the book together. It then gives brief biographies and cites issues for the 60 superstars, as well as where they appear in the main story.”

Condition is Very Good/Fine. An above-average comic with moderate wear. Complete with no tape, no spine splitting. Cover & interior pages are secure at the staples. Faults include spine ticks, writing on front cover (“Kevin & Feddy”) & piece missing from left edge of back cover. Please see photos.
