1858 Art Treasures Large Print - Ceramic Art

Majolica-ware plates:-
1. Faenza-ware plate, painted sopra azzurro. In centre, a shield of arms, with border of arabesque ornament in grisaille. Circa 1525.
2. Plate with interlaced ornamentation on a black background. Gubbio or Castel-Durante ware. Circa 1520.
3. Plate with a stag painted in the centre. Early Faenza ware. Circa 1490.
Owned by Lord Hastings, Melton Constable, Norfolk.

Guaranteed to be over 165 years old. NOT a Modern Copy.
Print page measures approx. 15" x 11" (380 x 280 mm).

Note on condition: Minor imperfections are to be expected from antique prints due to their age and usually do not affect the appearance of the print. Blemishes are noted and described as best possible. Saving the picture in a suitable web format tends to degrade the quality of the image and the originals are of a much higher quality.
