2in1: CW Trainer & Decoder * Morse Code Training Partner * Keyer Interpreter
We are looking at a recently developed CW reader /decoder & trainer for hobbists. It is neat in design and has passed our intensive tests to be running smoothly.

The reader runs on DC 9V. It has below parameters:

1) Input: DC 9V-12v

2) Output tune frequency: 600Hz ~ 1200Hz

3) Output power: 0.5W

4) CW audio interpreting speed: 10 ~ 40 (10% error rate) (100% correct, no-error speed is 15~35)

We have a potentiometer at bottom of the board for adjusting error rate, so to better interpret CW audio signal:

When we use computer to run CW signal, and when the LED on lower-left corner of the board flashes, we use a proper-sized screw-drive to turn the potentiometer a bit to check if the interpreted contents is same as being run by computer. If not, we change direction of the turning and check again.



Keyer input: 3.5mm jack

Audio input: 3.5mm jack (can use single channel to plug in)

Note:

When practising CW (in other words, the keyer is plugged in), we can not do audio interpretation (i.e plug in the audio input at the same time is prohibited) .
