Published in 1857 this granted citizenship to an Irish immigrant named Alex Roach who previously resided in New Orleans and was now living in Mariposa county, California. The declaration includes renouncing all foreign princes or allegiances especially noting the then current queen of Britain, Victoria. This document comes ready mounted in its original old frame.
