Find: 2021 May 15

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L5)

History: Found in Algeria on May 15, 2021, by a team of Algerian hunters represented by David Lehman.

Petrography: (A. Irving, UWS and P. Carpenter, WUSL) Sparse chondrules occur within a recrystallized assemblage containing sodic plagioclase, kamacite, troilite, Ti-chromite, chlorapatite and rare taenite.

Geochemistry: Olivine (Fa24.8±0.3, range Fa24.8-25.4, N = 5), low-Ca pyroxene (Fs20.9±0.1Wo1.5±0.3, range Fs20.7-21.0Wo1.2-1.9, N = 4), augite (Fs8.2±0.3Wo44.7±0.5, range Fs8.0-8.5Wo45.3-44.4, N = 3), plagioclase (Ab84.6An9.7Or5.7).

Classification: Ordinary chondrite (L6).

Specimens: 44 g including one polished thin section at UWB; remainder with Mr. D. Lehman.
