I have a pre 1900's Gilletts Double Extract bottle. It is about 5.5 inches tall; the neck is about i/2 inches tall. The top of the neck is flat or maybe a tooled top. Not really sure. The bottle has an image of an OWL on the front on a Crecent moon. The sides have the company name on one side and the words Chicago U.S.A. on the other side. The neck has a slight lean if you look at it really good. The bottle has numerous bubbles in it. There is one bubble on the back that has a tear drop if you will. I tried to take some pics of it but it is the best I could come up with. It also has a chip on the bottom of the back. The front is embossed with an owl with a Crecent moon. Please keep in mind that this is a very old bottle and is very dirty. I have chosen not to clean it up leaving that up to the new owner /buyer. This company started in 1852 and was in business until the 1920's when it changed to Sherer-Gillett. Just to give an idea when it was produced. Keep in mind that this bottle is so old you can hardly see the stuff that is embossed. I have seen a few of these with a different top. Mine is flat as you can see in the Pics which show it is older. Just think of how many people have touched this bottle. Please if you have any questions feel free to ask.
