Up for your consideration is a Belleek of Ireland open sugar bowl and matching creamer in the shamrock pattern. The ceramic is embossed to resemble a basket or woven fabric. On top of the ceramic, green shamrocks have been hand painted. The interiors are white. The handle of the creamer and the top rim of the sugar bowl have been painted brown.
The creamer stands about 4 inches tall at the spout and measures 2 inches across the base: the sugar bowl stands 2 1/8 inches tall and measures 3 inches across the top opening. The pair weighs 7 1/8 ounces.
The bottom is marked with the 7th mark, dating these pieces to 1980-1993. There is the dog, tower, and harp over one banner that reads Belleek and one that reads Ireland. The mark is tan (see the photos)
The sugar and creamer are in excellent, like-new condition, with no chips or cracks. There are no signs of wear or use.
