I have a set of vintage bird design bookends by Chalford Glos Arnold Designs LTD, England that are in very good to excellent condition. They are 6 1/4" tall, 5" wide & have a brass trim. The interior is made of gold tone sturdy metal, & the bottoms have a felt covering. I think the rounded bird graphics are on tiles but I can't tell for sure because the felt is covering that area. Never the less, it is a sturdy material & the colors are lovely as well as the detail of the picture. These may be rare as I searched for others & could not find any bookends.
