This is an original painting done on tapa cloth dried over board with a woven reed border frame. it measures 22 1/2“ x 14 1/2“. The artist uses authentic tapa colors and picks a beautiful Hawaiian maiden with flowers. It was bought from an estate in Lahaina Hawaii before the fire. I have two smaller paintings by the same artist one of them is signed, but the signature is hard to read. to the best of my knowledge this painting was done in the early 70s. I included a photo of one of the other paintings so you could see the artist signature. The painting is in excellent condition. The woven reed border is exquisite and a clever use of artistic talent the tap cloth is dried over a piece of masonite. It is about a quarter of an inch thick. It is a very substantial piece. It is a wonderfully rendered piece and a Lahaina memory.
