This ticket stub is from June 22nd 1929 for a game between the Chicago Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates. The
Pirates prevailed 7-4 by pounding out 14 hits including 5 from the Waner brothers. Charlie Grimm had a good day at
the plate hitting his 50th career homer run and driving home 3 of the Cubs 4 runs. It is the only ticket of its kind ever
graded by PSA as of 4/6/24. The 1929 team was one of the best Cubs teams of all time, losing in the World Series in
5 games to the Philadelphia A’s.
