Airlocks let air out without letting dust, air or contamination in. Designed to fit in a bored rubber bung (available separately) or into the grommet in the lid of a PET demijohn or bucket, creating a seal. Just half fill the airlock with water so air can flow through and you're ready to go.

The Fermentation Airlocks are a standard size and fit all standard fermentation buckets bored with a hole and grommet. They also fit standard bored cork and rubber bungs. The red caps are not designed to be airtight. They just sit lightly on top to keep flies and dust out of the airlocks.
