OSREN’s Denim Pads are less porous pads that are designed to hold more abrasives on the surface to remove orange peel and other severe defects such as sanding marks and acid etching marks . Tailored with sturdy denim selection, this makes OSREN’s Denim Pad capable of flattening the hills of paintwork more effectively, creating a mirror-like surface on paintwork.Recommended for hard paint levelling with NAO Leveler 56. To remove Orange Peel, you will need a pad that is somewhat hard, flat and less polish absorbent. Reason to it is because Orange Peel are “Hills” of the clear coat and it can only be “shaved” off from top down. If the pads were soft, it will somewhat “hug” the “hills” and “shave” uniformly down. So the “hills” will still remain as “hills”.
Foam Disc 2000 is made of denim which are hard, flat and less pores material to hold most of the abrasives on the surface and compound away orange peel and other deeper defects.
