Description of RB-2
RB-2 barium arrester is a protection device, the operation of which is aimed at preventing the harmful effects of internal (switching) and atmospheric pulse overvoltages on various radio-electronic equipment for a wide range of applications. By design, the barium arrester consists of a vacuum-sealed, rigid shell, inside which there is no oxygen.

The RB-2 arrester is designed to protect communication lines and equipment from overvoltages.
Insulation resistance, not less than 500 MOhm.
Interelectrode static capacitance, no more than -10 pF.
