- Made by: David Raymond Murray, 78 of Lewiston, died Wednesday, May 3rd 2023 at d'Youville Pavilion in Lewiston, following a long illness. Born in Attleboro, MA on January 1, 1945, he was the son of John I and Arline H (Pickett) Murray. Educated in Massachusetts schools, he was a Vietnam veteran, serving as a translator in the U.S. Air Force. After four plus years in the Air Force he received an Honorable discharge. Following his military service, he moved to Maine and worked for several years at Sebago shoe. At Sebago, Dave was involved in the design area of the company. He had his own shop in Marblehead MA and later in Maine created Cap Stone Leather. Custom Leather work of all types was his specialty. He was an elite leather craftsman. Dave was a very intelligent, creative and artistic person, and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
