This offering is for one (1) CosmicOne CG-5 Encoder Installation Kit by Lymax. 

Retain your polar alignment scope.

This a professionally machined kit that allows you to install encoders on your Celestron CG-5 or similar German equatorial mount without having to remove your polar alignment scope.  Most existing encoder brackets made for CG-5 or Vixen Great Polaris mounts require that you insert a bushing into the polar scope opening for the purpose of holding the RA (right Ascension) encoder shaft.  This means that you cannot install a polar alignment scope or that you must remove any existing polar scope.  Our brackets are also much more compact and provide a "cleaner" finished installation.

If you have been using a polar scope with your CG-5 mount, you already know how much easier it is to get an accurate polar alignment with the scope than without it.  A polar scope can reduce a long and tedious job to just a few easy minutes.

This works with CosmicOne DSC, JMI NGC-MAX, Lumicon NGC SkyVector, Celestron AstroMaster, and similar Digital Setting Circle Systems.

 A Polar Scope is NOT included with the kit.

Encoders are NOT included with the kit.

(The required encoders are a #2160 and a #4096 .)
