I purchased this at an auction years ago , it was a box lot with lots of other stuff-

At first I thought that the artwork was drawn on but after running my fingers over it i can tell that it is finely carved-

I don't know the age or what the metal is-

There is a crack around the bottom end ( see photos)

This does not affect the overall integrity of the piece-

It looks to be signed by the artist-
