PART DETAILS:

The CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR measures crankshaft location to detect misfire and control engine timing. Over time the CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR can fail due to excessive temperature, faulty wiring harnesses, contamination, sensor movement or normal wear and tear. Typical failure signs are vehicle will not start, stop running, engine backfiring, unusual engine vibrations or a drop in engine power.
