DESCRIPTION

Filters for your Water Heater Shield are a critical component to protecting your water heater from the damaging effects of scale. These filters reduce dirt, rust, silt and sediment as well as provide a thin protective layer on your heaters element and other metal surfaces within the water heater. To maintain protection, these filters need to be changed every 6 months or when 10 psi of water pressure is lost (gauge included on the Water Heater Shield).

  • Pack includes 4 replacement filters, replacement O-rings and new lubricant
  • Change every six months or when 10 psi of water pressure is lost
  • Relieve pressure on the system by turning off the water source and opening up a faucet in your home (hot water and cold water spigots)
