Il marchio giapponese DUO è stato fondato come distributore di attrezzatura da pesca nell'anno 1995 quando il presidente Hisahiro Matsushita è diventato indipendente e ha fondato la propria azienda. Il business delle esche degli anni '90 è stato fortemente influenzato dalla recessione giapponese. Realis Vibration 68 G-Fix

La serie Realis G-Fix è stata creata sulla base del concetto del signor Takashi Nishijima, una guida professionista che vive nella zona di Biwako e il cui obiettivo è il "big bass".
Il primo modello è stato creato grazie alla forte determinazione del signor Nishijima e alla fiducia in un modello pesante con un corpo super piatto, raramente presente nelle esche vibranti.
La sfera fissa in acciaio e i sonagli mobili sono stati sostituiti con sfere in tungsteno della stessa dimensione. Inoltre, sulla testa dell'esca è stato aggiunto un peso fisso stampato, aumentando il peso totale dell'esca di 5 g rispetto al modello normale.

Aumentando drasticamente il peso della testa dell'esca, ha permesso all'esca di raggiungere il fondo con la stessa rapidità dei jig. Grazie alla posizione stabile e affondante dell'esca, abbiamo ridotto drasticamente il rischio che l'amo si impigli nella lenza durante la caduta. The Realis G-Fix series was put into shape based on the conception of Mr. Takashi Nishijima, who is a pro-guide based in the Biwako area with his sights on “big bass”.
The first model was developed with Mr. Nishijima’s strong determination and belief in the heavy weight tuning model of a super flat body, rarely seen in injection type vibration lures.
The fixed steel ball (6.5mm x 1) and the free moving rattle balls (3.0mm x 12) have been replaced with the same size tungsten spheres. Furthermore, a molded fixed weight has also been added in the head section of the lure increasing the total weight by 5g compared to the normal model.

Following the drastic increase in weight in the head section of the lure, it has enabled the lure to reach the bottom as fast as those football jigs and the fast initiation of action from the super flat body won’t give the fish a chance to differentiate it from the real thing. With the lures stable sinking posture, we have drastically reduced the chances of the hook to pick up the line during the fall. The rattle sound created from the free moving balls are impossible to create in blade baits, strongly appealing to the target.

Furthermore, the weight distribution concentrating in the head section has also enabled the lure to maintain its tracing range, exhibiting its true potential in shallow areas with fast retrieval.
With its absolute casting distance and range traceability, the 68mm model is an ideal search bait for highly active fish. It is also great when the water temperature rises and the bass drop to below the middle to the deep range.
