Antonio Pineda, a member of the Taxco School, is recognized as a world-class designer. His work, born in the mountain town of Taxco in Mexico’s state of Guerrero, is a reflection of the region’s rich silver mining history dating back to the sixteenth century. Pineda’s designs are lauded for their boldness and ingenious design, embodying a hard-to-achieve combination of highly refined execution and handcrafted appeal.

Pineda’s jewelry is known for its elegant acknowledgment of the human form. Each piece is designed to fit the body perfectly, providing a comfortable and graceful wearing experience. The incuse mark “970”, a favorite standard of Antonio Pineda, attests to the high silver content of 97%.

Antonio Pineda, considered one of the finest Mexican silver craftsmen of the twentieth century, began his art at a young age. He studied painting and sculpture and at age 14, he was apprenticed to Taller de Las Delicias of William Spratling to learn the silversmith craft. In 1941, Antonio founded his own workshop, where his talent truly flourished.

This bracelet is not just a piece of jewelry, but a piece of history, a testament to the innovative spirit of the Taxco movement, and a tribute to the genius of Antonio Pineda. We invite you to experience the elegance and craftsmanship of this stunning piece.
