Harrison's history was published in 1775.
Baynard's castle was located between the modern day sites of Blackfriars and St Pauls and was demolished after the Great Fire of London. The print shows a view of the castle from the river and is hand coloured.
Condition, is good, colours are bright, no marks on the image or within the plate impression.
