Indeed they are. Born in February 1969, they burst alive, almost full grown with a new

innovation, a new sound, a classic sound. VII instruments, Vll musicians, VII professionals,

VII blended sounds, VII Romans, bringing to cathedrals, churches, auditoriums and

coliseums the finest in gospel music. They say with music the words that bring citizens

alive. From palace to hut, they have 'something for everyone.

Men and instrument fuse together. When the reed of a sax, the skin of drums, the metal

of trumpet and trombone, the strings of bass and guitar, and the hammers of piano are

placed against the fingers and lips of a Roman, it brings lifeless wood and metal vibrantly

alive with sounds that prickle the skin. Call for the Senate to convene and declare a holi-

day, everyone should be allowed to hear the sounds of the VII Romans. If you cannot
