Vintage 1949 Captain Midnight Secret Squadron Ovaltine Radio Premium Key-O-Matic Decoder
Captain Midnight, later rebranded on television as Jet Jackson, Flying Commando, is a U.S. adventure franchise first broadcast as a radio serial from 1938 to 1949. The character's popularity throughout the 1940s and into the mid-1950s extended to serial films (1942), a television show (1954–1956), a syndicated newspaper strip (1942 – late 1940s), and a comic book title (1942–1948)
During the time that radio programs were the dominant medium in the United States, some programs advertised "souvenirs" of the various shows, which were sometimes called radio premiums. The first of these were generally cast photographs and the like, but eventually, these evolved into novelties that many children collected.
One subset of radio premiums were cryptological, mostly based on cipher disks. Ovaltine Foods issued these for Little Orphan Annie and Captain Midnight. At least once a week, secret messages were broadcast at the close of an episode, each of which was invariably a preview of the forthcoming episode. These could be deciphered with one of the "decoder" premiums. A spoof on this was depicted in the movie A Christmas Story.

On rare occasions, such as during severe national weather interruptions, USPS shipping services may be delayed and take longer than usual, as long as 14 business days from the order date.
Expedited shipping generally arrives in 2-4 business days. Expedited orders are packaged and shipped first and usually receive same-day shipping when placed before 12:30 pm PST or (3:30 pm EST) will ship the same day. Expedited orders placed after this time will likely ship the next business day.
Our organization requires that an item be listed for at least 30 days before we consider accepting customer offers to reduce the purchase price. If you wish to make an offer on a favored item, "watch" that item as we occasionally send reduced-price offers and coupons. If the item of interest has not yet gone on sale or has not been sold after 30 days, feel free to make another offer, we will consider it at that time.
