This is an International Rectifier
1N630 Microwave Detector Diode for 1 to 12.4 GHz
covering L and X Bands
in a SOD-49 metal container (can)

Operating across an incredibly broad high-frequency spectrum of 1.0 GHz to 12.4 GHz,
the International Rectifier 1N630 was designed to cover the L, S, C, and X microwave bands.

This component was exclusively used in high-end, military-grade, aerospace, and commercial laboratory RF test equipment where lightning-fast detection speeds were necessary.

Extensively used inside legacy Hewlett-Packard microwave laboratory equipment. Often found in AGC leveling loops in early microwave signal generators and leveling amplifiers.

Hewlett-Packard & Narda Coaxial & Waveguide Crystal Detectors,  to rectify RF microwave power into a readable DC voltage for oscilloscopes and automated measurement (ATE)

Sourced from Hewlett Packard Loveland R&D labs.

Factory new part. Has never been installed and has not been recovered from manufactured electronic  assembly.
