Lovely old Thomas Webb whiskey decanter, cut with two regimented rows of staggered diamond patterns. This may be from the discontinued pattern Cardiff. Signed on the bottom with an acid-etched “Webb” in cursive, underneath which the block-capital “ENGLAND” is etched along a slightly curving line. This hallmark dates the piece to between 1950 and 1966, the same period the Cardiff pattern was produced.
