Henry Teesdale (1776 - 1856) was born in London and was active as a cartographer and map publisher in the first halve of the 19th century. He was elected to the Royal Society in 1832. This map was published in the 'New British Atlas' in 1829.
Page size is 46cm by 36cm.
Map area is in good condition for age, engravings are clear. Some browning and marks and creases. Repairs to the margins and addition of a small piece of paper to cover a hole in the side margin.
