Printhead Flushing Tool


The package includes ONE adapter with a tube and a 10 ml syringe. The tip can work on Epson's black grommet directly. The adapter is designed to have an angle with the syringe connection to fit the syringe into tight situations.

To use:

Package includes:
1 x BCH MaxStrength DTF Cleaning Solution (100 ml) for DTF, DTG, and Pigment Ink
1 x Unclogging Adapter for Epson Printhead Cleaning: ET-8500 ET-8550

Unclog and restore dried print nozzles with our industrial-strength cleaning solution, designed specifically for stubborn white DTF ink. This powerful formula works from the inside of the printhead, ensuring thorough cleaning and unclogging of even the toughest ink deposits.

• DO NOT MIX WITH FRESH INK.
• READ THE ENTIRE WARNING BEFORE USE

Our solution works from within the printer. To deliver it into the printhead, follow these methods:

Step 1: Deliver the Liquid

Option 1: Using a Cartridge

1. Fill an empty cartridge with distilled water.
2. Use the printer's built-in function to clean the printhead three times.
   • If using the power cleaning function, wait 12 hours before repeating.
   • If using the regular cleaning function, wait 20 minutes before repeating.
3. Print a CMYK pattern; if any color appears, repeat the process.
4. Fill another set of cartridges with the DTF cleaning solution and run the cleaning cycle two to three times.
5. Switch back to distilled water cartridges and clean three more times.

Option 2: Flushing with the Included Tube

1. Use the included flushing adapter to push the liquid into the printhead. This method is more aggressive and requires caution to avoid damage.
2. Connect the printhead with the flushing adapter and draw out the remaining ink.
3. Fill a syringe with distilled water and gently push it through the printhead.
   • The ink should come out in color beads, not a spray. If it sprays, reduce the force.
4. Continue until all colors are gone.
5. Place the printhead in a sealed container for 2 hours and repeat until no colors appear after two hours.
6. Switch to BCH DTF cleaning solution and repeat the process until no colors come out.
7. Finally, use distilled water to flush out any remaining cleaning solution.

Warning:

• This product cannot be mixed with fresh ink or diluted.
• It is designed for hard clogs only, not for regular cleaning or maintenance.
• Thoroughly clean the printhead with distilled water before using this solution, and flush out all cleaning solution afterward.
• Do not use it with solvent, eco-solvent, or UV inks.
• This product is for experienced users only. If you are new to unclogging printheads, please seek professional assistance.
• Do not leave the solution at 100% concentration inside the printer for more than 24 hours.
• Use at room temperature and avoid heating above 95°F.
• Always put the lid back on when not in use and keep the solution in its original bottle.

This solution is the most powerful DTF ink cleaner we offer. If your printer cannot be saved with this solution, it likely cannot be saved. For minor clogs, consider our more economical clear or green solutions. If you need a regular dye, pigment, or sublimation unclogger, check out our red cleaning solution.
