Instructions

 

Installation required items:

1. A spray bottle (water) optional

2. A measuring tape (ruler)

3. Masking tapeoptional

4. Dry paper towels optional

5. A retractable knife optional

6. A squeegee or credit card (wrapped in a cloth)

7. Pencil optional

 

Dry application and wet application:

We suggest installing the graphic using dry application. Installing it dry will ensure that the decal stays adhered to the surface, while wet application may cause the decal to not adhere to the surface. If installing it wet, never use soapy

 

Installation:

· Go over the decal – to ensure that the decal is properly stuck to the transfer tape covering before installing it. Take the squeegee application tool and press firmly over the whole surface of the face of the decal while it is still laying flat on the table.

 

· Clean the surface - all dirt, grease and wax must be removed from the car surface, wipe it dry.

 

· Place the decal –Temporarily place the decal in the desired location with two small pieces of masking tape. Holding the decal to the vehicle surface. Once the decal is aligned to the vehicle, stand back and look at the decal. Adjust as necessary.

· Secure the decal – Place a long piece of tape along the top of the decal, half on the strip and half on the vehicle surface, securing it.

 

· Remove the back paper – raising the large hinged flap, and then peel the wax paper back off the decal exposing the sticky side of the decal. Do not allow the sticky part of the decal to touch the vehicle surface.

 

· Spray water (optional) - Spray a light mist of water on the sticky side of the decal. (Water only, not soapy solution!)

 

· Spray water on the desired location(optional) – spray the body surface with a fine mist of water solution (not soapy solution)

 

· Place the decal on – apply the sticky side of the decal to the vehicle surface.

 

· Use a squeegee – use a squeegee smooth out the decal with long horizontal strokes.

 

· Remove the transfer tape – once the entire piece is applied, remove the masking tape from the decal. Then, remove the transfer tape covering, carefully pulling parallel to the surface of the vehicle.

 

· Go over the decal –moisten the squeegee edge with water and slide the squeegee along the surface of the decal where the bubble is working the air towards the edge. (Most bubbles will dissipate within 3 weeks of installation due to sunlight)

 

How to remove:

All the vinyl stickers are easy to remove and clean without damage the surface. Easily peel off the sticker with your finger nails until all pieces of them gone.(heatgun required) Then, you can use the “adhesive and tar remover” (available in the Bunnings Warehouse) to wipe off any residue adhesive off the surface. You also can use the nail polish removal to achieve the same result.
