No chips or cracks. Has some scratches that show when glass is held up to the light. Has a tiny scrape on the bottom ball. Please see photos.

**It is a good idea to check the lead, cadmium etc. content, of all dishes, pottery, glassware, metalware, wood, etc. especially vintage ones! Many dishes even newer ones and pottery have unacceptable lead content and and are not safe especially for children and pregnant women! Painted dishes are more prone to have lead. Chipped, cracked, or scratched dishes can leach lead. It would be better to use this for collector purposes only.
