ZOOM in on pics!  Seems like ions ago - but who can remember Frank SInatra - and the movies about the Vegas Strip?

This ashtray is still an absolutely gorgeous black - and in Excellent Condition!  

Recently, I have found in my storage crates - a few glass ashtrays - that were the results of  = somewhat of a collection addiction of a relative.....he used to go everywhere - and somehow the ashtray would end up in his jacket pocket....he would say that a Leprechaun put it there? 

but I do believe back in the day....ashtrays were perceived as an advertising item and perhaps places of business almost encouraged you to take them home?  (WAIT- encouraged the Leprechaun to place in your pocket....hmm...)
