This is a very unique Nautical Theme necklace and earrings set. The necklace has a rope that serves as the closure that ties with ornate nautical items including, buoys, seagull, anchor with seagull and life preserver. The earrings are anchors with a life preserver adorned on each one.
The Necklace measures approx: 42" from rope end to rope end.
The anchor on the necklace measures @4" by 3" wide and is signed by the artist.
The earrings measure @ 2" x 1 3/4" each and are push back backings.
Hallmarked by the artist on the back of one of the earrings.
Hand-Made from the 80's, Tigre Lis jewelry by Artisan Karen Justice is wearable "Art Fashion Jewelry" made from polymer clay. This wearable art has been sculpted from a lightweight imported clay. The colors are not painted on the surface but worked into the clay itself to make each piece and original piece of art.
If you look closely, you might find the artist's finger prints as a signature of a hand creation. Her jewelry and accessories were very popular and in high demand in the 1980's. Each one in hand designed and a sculpted wearable piece of art!
* This set was acquired from a single owner store which recently liquidated. So, they are old new stock and the earrings are still on the original card. The card does have a few bends from storage along with some inventory notes by the original store owner.
