Having an original box/packaging for any item does not magically turn your item into new! Especially with ornaments, these are a collectable item. As with collectable items, most collectors like to save the original box. So why do some sellers think that this is okay to falsely advertise? And just as funny, other sellers show pics of their ornament displayed on a table or countertop sitting right next to the box, meanwhile the item is listed as "NIB" (New in Box)!!! News flash, once you take the item out of the box...it's no longer "in Box." Anyway, anytime I list an ornament as Brand New, you can be assured that my item is indeed new, straight out of my personal collection, has not been displayed, nor has it made its way to the Christmas tree and back every year.
