Up for auction is an original Sunday, July 18, 1954 Detroit Tigers at New York Yankees YANKEE STADIUM GRANDSTAND Ticket Stub slabbed & graded a PSA 6 (EXMT+ cond.!) by Professional Sports Authenticators. This is a RARE 1954 Yankee Stadium Ticket Stub in just BEAUTIFUL condition from the greatest Tiger of them all Al Kaline!! (sorry Ty Cobb). 1954 was of course Al Kaline's rookie season as he finished 3rd in 1954 AL Rookie of The Year voting. Considered the greatest Tiger in team history along with Ty Cobb, Al Kaline would explode onto the major league scene the very next season - in 1955 - hitting (.340/27/102) as the 22-year Tiger HOFer won the MLB Batting Title (.340), the MLB HITs Crown (200 HITs), the AL Total Bases Title (321 TBs), and finished 2nd in AL MVP voting behind Yogi Berra in once again only his 2nd year in baseball!
