Up for bid is a vintage Pegasus Winged Horse Brass Bell with Chained External Clapper in great overall condition (see PICs). The bell measures 6 3/4" high overall with a 4 11/16" tall winged horse mounted on top of a 2" tall bell with 3/16" thick lip and 1 7/8" diameter sound bow (see PICs). This premium quality made in Japan bell is pre-owned and does show some signs of use, wear and age (see PICs). IMPORTANT NOTE: the bell is made of brass, but appears to have been painted (see PICs). This very collectible treasure was discovered at an estate sale where many antique items were offered and is being listed based on information I received from the previous owner and my Internet research and is being sold in as-found condition (see PICs).
