DESCRIPTION:  Here is an early 19th century twin handled cup. Decorated on a royal blue ground with a gilt scale pattern. Each side hand painted with colourful flower sprays and green leaves. The twin handled in the form of winged female that are on a white ground and highlighted in gilt. The cup is gilt lined to the top rim. The cup is unmarked as it would be of Coalport of this era. This pattern is very similar to the Spode 1166 pattern. Dates to circa 1820.

SIZE:  The cup measures 3 1/2 inches to top of handles and 5 1/16 at widest point across handles.

CONDITION:  The cup is in good condition having no chips, cracks or restoration with some all round gilt ware to the top rim (as per last four pictures) as expected for age.
