Complete kit including everything you need to setup a 10Gb/s point to point network, between any two computers with a spare PCI-E x8 slot (or x4 with an open end!). 

High profile cards include an active cooling fan and cable ties, for stable operation in a typical desktop case - remember, all these server grade network cards were designed for high airflow rack mount chassis!

Fully Tested for compatibility and interoperability. Create a fast, separate network for direct, speedy access to your NAS server or another PC. Run on it's own dedicated, private subnet with manual addressing, or "bridge" with other interfaces to tap into your existing network and router.

Also includes up to an hours technical support to help you get up and running, however you want to use these!


- 2x Network Cards, each with 2x SFP+ ports, and fully supported across modern Linux and Windows / Windows server, including Windows 11 and Server 2022.
- Cabling, either:
     - 3m DAC, direct attach copper
     - 5m DAC
     - 25m Multimode LC/LC Fibre, plus 2x tested compatible 10G transceiver modules
- Active cooling fan (with High Profile cards):
     - 50cm cable, ending in a combo 3pin system fan or "molex" power plug connector, to fit most PCs
     - 2 cable ties, to secure as per photos.


Whilst this kit will of course work with switches, this brings it's own compatibility requirements. It's possible the DAC or transceivers in this kit will not be compatible with your switch!

Supported in BSD, though not the best choice - check my shop for "Chelsio" cards best for use in BSD, or get in touch.

Cable tying the fan on as pictured works great most of the time, however, it will make the card thicker than 1 slot. If this poses a problem, you can try alternative positions for the fan, ducting with card or 3D printed parts, or angling it to blow in from the leading edge of the card, or down from above.
