Low speaker installation depths are becoming more and more important for many applications, but often flat speakers sound rather thin due to the limited bass range hub and represent a musical compromise. With the newly developed BRUTUS BRX series, Hifonics has bravely succeeded in changing this. Even the 2-way system BRX6.2C with 16.5 cm nominal dimension fits with a mounting depth of just 42 mm not only in almost every opening, it impresses particularly through a very good bass performance. The completely newly developed carbon fiber membrane, which is extremely stable and yet very light, contributes primarily to this - a must, especially with flat loudspeakers. The 20 mm neodymium tweeter is relieved of the low frequencies by means of a cable crossover. Due to the compact design of the switch, the installation is easy by hand.
