This auction is for a set of 8 pieces of Whiting Manufacturing Co Empire Sterling Silver Bullion / Gumbo Soup Spoons.  The pieces are in overall good condition.  There is a dark spot in two spoon bowls, and a small dent in one of the spoon's bowl.  Each piece looks like it has a faint gold wash.  The edge of each of the bowls looks a little uneven and I tried to take pictures so you could see.  The spoons are very rare and I didn't seen any others on Replacements and rarely on eBay..  Each spoon has a monogram and I have taken a picture of the monogram (hard to tell the monogram).  The spoons weigh 322 grams. The spoons are approximately 6 5/8" long, the word sterling, the Whiting lion with the "W" in the lions face, and Pat. Oct. 94.  These pieces are very beautiful and ready for entertaining.
