This auction is for a 12-piece Ravinet & Denfert French silver Dessert / Ice Cream Set with vermeil (gold) bowls. The set consists of 11 spoons and 1 serving spoon. I have polished only the handles and they are in overall good condition except for some light usage scratches. The vermeil is in very good condition with no wear on the bowls. The handles are monogrammed, and I have attached a picture of the monogram. The serving spoon is approximate 9 3/8"" long. The 11 spoons are approximately 5 3/8" long. I had to use a 60x powered magnifying lense but I was able to verify that all of the pieces have the Minerva 1 mark that identifies the silver content as 950. The maker's mark is Ravinet & Denfert and mark was used between 1891 and 1912. The set weighs 332 grams.
