Natural copper is a living metal and will begin to patina once the protective plastic film is removed.

A patina of warm reds and browns will develop with time and use to create a rustic feature.

Occasionally there may be slight scuffs on new copper sheet, it is an industrial metal, and this can be expected, but these will blend into the patina as it develops.

Clean by washing with warm soapy water then wipe dry.

Note the reverse side of discs will show witness to handling and burr removal after cutting.

To remove patina use Brasso type products for example, the copper may be brighter than as received, or burnish, it all depends on what you are looking for.
