The book for sale is a rare signed, limited edition of Herman Melvillsi's poem On the Slain Collegians published by Farrar, Straus, & Giroux in 1971 and illustrated by Antonio Frasconi. The book was limited to 1000 signed copies. This is copy number 11. The book is in fine condition with minor wear to the board edges, see photos. The spine and boards are square and straight. There are no internal markings other than Frasconi's signature. There is a previous owner’s bookplate, see photo. The dust jacket is in very good condition with minor wear at the jacket edges and spine, see photos.
