Hybrid Operation
This 4G router supports 2 operation modes. It can get internet from SIM car insertion
or network cable hookup with internet modem or cable modem.
Once an Ethernet cable is plugged in, this router will not use the data plan from SIM card unless the Ethernet cable is unplugged or no internet from modem connection.

Wi-Fi Connection Backup
When a wired internet connection is unavailable or unreliable, it will switch to 4G service automatically
if a SIM card with active data plan is plugged into the slot at the moment.

SIM Card Slot
This router has a standard SIM card slot and can connect to a cellular network via a SIM card, giving you access to the internet whenever a cellular signal is present.

This router is a great backup internet solution for rural homes where Internet service is weak or unavailable.
It can also be configured as a backup router, just plug an Ethernet cable with cable modem as the main source for internet, while 4G network would be the backup internet connection.
When the wired Internet service is down from the modem failing or damaged by intruder, it will switch to 4G data plan automatically.
